Occasionally, the ZIP code for a company’s physical address differs from the code for its mailing address. In these cases, ZIP code searches will be based upon the physical address, using the 5-digit code (or 6-character postal code for Canadian firms).
ZIP code search specifications can be entered in a number of ways: by directly typing them in, by uploading an external file of ZIP codes, by browsing for codes by city, and by specifying a central ZIP code along with a desired radius in miles surrounding the central code.
To specify one or more ZIP codes or a range of codes directly, simply type them in, either as single values separated by commas, or as a range of values. For example,

To browse the ZIP or postal codes for a city, under ‘Find ZIP Codes by City’ enter the name of the city and hit the Find button. This will bring up one or more states/provinces with that city name, along with all of the ZIP codes for each. Check off the codes that you want to select. To omit the checked codes from your search results, also check the Exclude Companies that Match this Criteria checkbox at the bottom of the page.
To specify a ZIP or postal code radius search, fill in the blanks where it says ‘Find ZIP Codes within a _ mile radius of _’, and hit the Find button. This will bring up a list of ZIP codes that satisfy those criteria. You now have the option of selecting some or all of the codes that are listed. Tip: Start with a conservative number of miles when specifying the ZIP radius – too large a number could easily result in hundreds of ZIP codes.
