Contacts within the Harris database are categorized by job function. Use the job function search criteria when you want to target a specific group of titles. To see the specific titles that are grouped under a particular job function, click on that function. To collapse the display, click on the job function once again. To select an entire job function category for your search, check the box for that function.
To select by specific titles, check only those titles that you want. Be careful not to narrow down your search too much. For example, if you choose VP of Purchasing, you may also want to specify Purchasing Director, Purchasing Manager, and Purchasing Agent. Since each firm has its own method for assigning titles, you may be better off using the Job Function search criteria to identify your best contacts.
